I won the Fremont Unified School Districts Young Composer Award and had my composition "Silverfish" played by the Fremont Symphony Orchestra.  Mark Volkert of the San Francisco Symphony arranged my piece for the orchestra.  It was fascinating for me to see how my piano composition was transformed for an orchestra, and brought to life by Mrs. Dawn Harms conducting this great orchestra.
