For my AP Physics class project, I had to design and build an energy transfer machine that shows at least eight kinds of energy transfer.  I decided to build a Rube Goldberg machine by leveraging the things I had already built in my room such as the Iris Peephole System, and the Guitar Hero Midi Drum set.  I set up a magnetic switch and a marble drop on to the drum set. I reprogrammed the drum kit to play a recording of my voice telling Alexa to open the door.  The iris peephole system was set to open with the RFID badge placed next to the reader so that it would open the latch.  A rope attached to the door via a weight and pulley pulled the door open when the latch released from a loosely held loop of string.  Here is the video.
