I played alto saxophone in marching band.  I also played keyboards with winter percussion.  A highlight was going to Europe for 9 days over spring break, to Vienna and Prague, and playing in old churches and streets, and the museum of music in Prague.

In winter percussion we competed in several regional competitions.

At Hopkins Junior high, I was in woodwind ensemble, and jazz ensemble, directed by Greg Conway, and our bands consistently won several awards.

I made it to Northern California Honor Band roll in 2018.
